IRIS' parent company, Dozier Bank Vault Company began as a vault and safe repair company for financial institutions in North Texas.
1968
Expanded services to include bank alarm systems.
1970
Changed our name to The Security Center and established ourselves as a premier provider of security solutions for Texas financial institutions.
1994
Developed and received the first U.S. patent for the Digital Video Recorder. In other words, we invented the DVR...we called it IRIS.
1994
Began distributing IRIS products nationwide through an expansive dealer network that continues to grow today.
2003
Received the first of several endorsements from large statewide banking associations.
2004
Introduced TotalVision-4, a smaller DVR designed for installation inside of ATMs.
2005
Introduced the first wall-mounted "touch screen" Digital Video Recorder –
TotalVision-TS.
2008
Introduced TotalVision-FX, an enhanced, faster version of the TotalVision-TS, now expandable to 32 video channels.
2010
Introduced its first I.P. DVR with no mechanical drives and no moving parts – the ATM SiteWatch. Perfect for use in ATMs.
Fall 2010
IRIS will be introducing I.P.-only and "hybrid" options for its full line of DVRs.
