IRIS®
Control Suite sets up, monitors the
health of, and provides access to the IRIS Digital Video Systems
(DVS) Servers. Control Suite is comprised of the following applications:
CONFIGURATOR provides
complete on-site or remote setup and programming functions for
the IRIS DVS. SERVICE MANAGER communicates with the DVS
site systems and polls them for health and maintenance issues,
displays the current status of all monitored sites, reports systems
that are online and the operational status of all systems. ACCESS identifies available IRIS
DVS Servers and provides the System Administrator with the ability
to manage user access to the IRIS DVS Servers on an enterprise-wide
level.
SERVICE MANAGER
IRIS Service Manager software communicates with the DVS on-site
systems and polls them for health and maintenance issues. It displays
the current status of all monitored sites, reports systems that
are online and the operational status of all systems.
Service personnel use the system diagnostics reporting to IRIS
Service Manager to maintain and repair the system. With the remote
capability, system diagnostics and software upgrades can be performed
with ease.
For enhanced security, IRIS DVS continually monitors the equipment
and AC power status. All unusual events are logged. Video sources
are monitored to detect loss of signal or total white/black signal
as an indication of equipment failure or restricted viewing range.
