NIGHT-WATCH

Don't force your customers to conduct their ATM or night deposit transactions in dark or poorly lighted areas. Monitor the light level in all of your night transaction areas with the new IRIS Light Monitoring System. Night-Watch let's your security personnel know -- by activating a local and a remote alarm -- when the light levels around an ATM or Night Depository have dropped below your preset minimum requirements. As an integral part of the IRIS System, the Night-Watch feature requires no additional hardware purchases and can be installed using already existing equipment. Not only can you decrease the chance of ATM robberies and negligent security litigation, but you can actually increase ATM traffic by consistently providing your customers with a safe-looking, well-lighted transaction area that complies with all federal and state protective lighting requirements.

Light up the night with Night-Watch

Features

IRIS Night-Watch technology transforms your digital video system into a leading edge, digital video, light monitoring system.

Using existing cameras, Night-Watch determines the average light level in the picture. If the level drops below a pre-set threshold, Night-Watch sends an alarm message to alert your remote operator of the problem. Along with the remote alarm signal, Night-Watch activates a redundant local alarm, allowing the information to be retrieved at both locations.

The Night-Watch auto-calibration feature automatically adjusts the alarm threshold setting to register the average amount of light present in the area after the first night's operation.

With the Night-Watch auto-reset advantage, once the alarm has been activated and both remote and local alarm messages have been sent, the system does not continue to send a series of unnecessary, repetitive alarm messages.

Any CCD camera can be specified to check the light level in the Night-Watch system, including any existing ATM security camera.

To eliminate annoying false alarms,
Night-Watch can be programmed to wait for several, below-minimum samples before the alarm is enabled. Lighting levels can be checked remotely, prior to dispatching a light service company, by viewing both a current picture of the scene and past video images stored on the IRIS system.

Night-Watch can be programmed to check the light level at any predetermined time interval.

Night-Watch automatically detects a faulty camera with its built in, self-diagnostic program and automatically generates a camera error alarm message.

Fully integrated with the IRIS bank security system. The sophisticated IRIS system can be programmed to monitor light in only one, specified area of the picture.
